Despite the opportunities and privileges that I have had in my life, reality has always been rather grim to me. The world is constantly changing, life seems to fall apart at the seams, and the mind never seems to rest. Art gives me an escape from this-it allows me to create worlds of fantastical nature, lets me get lost in the process, lets me create every beautiful or horrifying detail. It is something that I am able to control, something I can give life to. It helps me better cope with whatever I may be facing, give voice to things I am never able to put into words.

Much of my work is inspired by the many people that I have found throughout my life, all of them artists in their own right, as well as other established artists. I am so inspired by the stories they write within each word, with each stroke of a pen or brush. The stories they come up with are so full of life, so much different than what I come up with. They inspire me to create something different as well, something that can take shape, form-a world of its own.

I am able to adapt to many different styles of art, though I prefer styles that allow me to create something almost magical, whimsy-or even a bit darker in nature. I love to blend more cartoonish natures with something more surrealistic, and have many ideas as to what I can do.
